​Volunteering

Volunteers play an important role in helping the Autism Society of Newfoundland and Labrador (ASNL) deliver inclusive, neuro-affirming programs and events across the province.

Volunteers may support a variety of arts, recreational, social, educational, and community programs by:

• Welcoming participants and creating a welcoming environment

• Assisting with program setup and takedown

• Supporting activities and group programming

• Providing event and fundraiser support

• Helping create safe, respectful, and engaging spaces
   

Whether supporting a family event, youth program, adult social group, or community fundraiser, volunteers help build connection, belonging, and community participation.

No prior experience with autism is required. ASNL provides orientation, training, and ongoing support.
