Library Policies
Borrowing: Individuals may sign up for a library membership at a cost of $10. The cost covers collection development for the library. Library membership forms are available at our office or on our website. If membership dues are paid in full and are up to date, the $10 library fee will be waived.
Books: Individuals may borrow up to a maximum of four books at a time. Lending periods for books are two weeks. An additional week will be granted to cover mailing time for those borrowing outside the central area.
Videos & Software: Individuals may borrow one video or piece of software at a time. Lending periods for videos are two weeks. An additional week will be granted to cover mailing time for those borrowing outside the central area.
Games: The library has a collection of games available for borrowing. Individuals may borrow a maximum of three games with a lending period of two weeks. Games are not listed in the library’s catalogue but in a binder housed in the library. Call for further details.
Overdue Materials: It is your responsibility to return library materials on time. You will not be permitted to borrow library materials if you have overdue items. You will be charged the replacement cost for lost or damaged library materials.
Renewals: Library materials may be renewed after the two weeks borrowing period is up provided that no other patron requires the material.
Holds: Patrons may place a hold on an item if it is currently on loan to another person. Please advise our office if you wish to place a hold on an item by providing the title and author from the library catalogue. You will be advised when to pick up your hold by telephone or e-mail.
Searching: The library’s catalogue is online and searchable from any computer. Please ask our office staff for assistance searching for library materials. We are glad to provide assistance!!
